Two new taps on September 17

Beer Bar Festa Shimokitazawa, a craft beer pub in Tokyo’s Shimokitazawa neighborhood, announced two new tap additions.

Minoh Beer’s “Peach Weizen Early Variety” is a peach fruit beer designed to keep sweetness restrained while maintaining a clean, crisp finish. Its juicy peach character rises gently on the nose, offering a soft and refreshing profile that should work well with food or as an opening pour.

The second beer is BrewDog’s “Double Hazy,” a New England IPA packed with malt and hop flavor. The beer presents vivid aromas reminiscent of pineapple, mango, and fresh lime, complemented by a subtle pine-like nuance. It is a fuller, more aromatic choice for drinkers looking for a pronounced hop experience.

A casual Shimokitazawa beer stop

Festa is a beer pub located on the fifth floor of Daishin Building in Kitazawa, Setagaya. The casual venue also features darts, making it a relaxed stop for enjoying a flight of beers or settling in with friends. The contrast between the bright, fruit-forward Peach Weizen and the intense Double Hazy offers an easy way to explore two distinct craft beer styles.

The tap information comes from the venue’s September 17 post. Availability may change, so guests should confirm the current lineup when visiting. The address is 2-9-1 Kitazawa, Setagaya, Tokyo.
