In a post published on March 18, 2026, Mukuraf, a beer pub in Shinhashi, Koto Ward, Tokyo, announced the day’s beer lineup. While referring to the swelling of cherry tree buds, the post introduced two new taps.

The stars this time are two labels that put spring front and center. The first is Sankt Gallen’s "Sankt Gallen Sakura." It uses salted flowers and leaves from Taka-to’s double-flowered cherry blossoms, aiming for a seasonal beer with the aroma and flavor of sakura mochi. The second is BREW CLASSIC’s "Ura Tiger Viva Haze" (Hazy IPA). It is presented as a beer with a silky mouthfeel and fruit character ranging from passion fruit to grapefruit.

The day’s tap lineup featured six beers, including Nomcraft’s "Island Grove," GOODHOPS’ "Yokai no Nektaron," Yamorido’s "Big Storm Mom," and GROUNDTAP BREWING’s "TSURUGI." In addition, the shop had a strong selection of bottles and cans from West Coast Brewing, VERTERE, Green Neighbors, Sierra Nevada, and others, spanning styles from Hazy DIPA to Pilsner, Apple Cider, and Sour.

Mukuraf is also known for updating its food menu frequently, not just its craft beer. On this day, items such as horse meat tartare and smoked ham Caesar salad were on offer, making it easy to build pairings with the beers. Chase the season on tap, and dig deeper through the bottles. It sounds like the kind of day that makes that possible.
