MOKICHI KAMAKURA Sells Advance Tickets for Shonan Beer’s 2026 Oktoberfest
Kumazawa Brewing will hold Oktoberfest 2026 from October 10 to 12 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Shonan Beer. The festival will feature 25 beers, with advance tickets available at MOKICHI KAMAKURA and other MOKICHI locations.
Kumazawa Brewing’s annual Oktoberfest will take place from October 10 through 12 at the brewery site in Chigasaki, Kanagawa. The 2026 edition marks the 30th anniversary of Shonan Beer, and the event is scheduled to feature 25 beers, ranging from regular offerings to limited releases.
One of the highlights is 30th Barrel Aged Sour Beer, an anniversary sour ale aged for eight years in wine barrels. Extended aging gives the beer a complex profile, combined with fruit-like acidity. The source post does not disclose the names of all 25 beers, but the event is positioned as an opportunity to sample a broad selection of Shonan Beer in one place.
The festival will use the entire Kumazawa Brewing grounds, including the Ten-sei, MOKICHI TRATTORIA, and mokichi cafe areas, as well as the surrounding garden. Food prepared by the restaurant chefs, festival stalls, and live music will accompany the beer program.
Opening hours are 11:00 to 20:00 on October 10 and 11, and 11:00 to 19:00 on October 12. Advance tickets are required. They are sold at MOKICHI locations, including MOKICHI KAMAKURA. The full-event ticket costs ¥7,000 and includes ten food-and-drink vouchers and a glass.
For guests who know MOKICHI KAMAKURA, the beer pub in Hase, this is a chance to follow Shonan Beer back to its brewery and experience its anniversary lineup in a spacious, green setting. Visitors should check the official announcement for ticket availability and the final serving details before attending.
