Tap List for May 12

At Craft beer kitchen Kokoro no Tsuki in Miyagawacho, Yokohama, the tap list has been announced to coincide with its Tuesday, May 12 service. The post adds, "Beautiful beer and Chinese food for a happy moment," conveying the appeal of taking your time to pair craft beer with Chinese dishes inside the shop, which opens at 3 p.m.

There are six beers on the lineup for the day. Radiant Beer's `Mind Gardens`, Nara Brewing's `Under Water Luminous`, Hoppukotan Brewery's `AKIRA no Kyuujitsu`, Barbaric Works's `TASUKI-TASUKI-`, Migration Brewing's `Govy 500`, and once again Hoppukotan Brewery's `Kotan to AKIRA` are on tap.

The mix of domestic and overseas breweries makes it easy to broaden your tasting range within a single bar, which feels very much like Kokoro no Tsuki. As the taps change, it's a lineup well suited to choosing a beer that matches your mood that day.

The food side is strong too. The post features plenty of Chinese-style snacks, with dishes like `steamed chicken with green sansho pepper and scallion sauce`, `fried eggplant with ginger soy sauce`, `mapo tofu`, `Shanghai-style yakisoba`, `shrimp mayo`, `drool-worthy wontons`, and `chunky square black-vinegar pork` that make you want to order them as beer companions. Beyond craft beer, the place is also distinctive for fully embracing the satisfaction of a meal.

The shop is on the second floor in Miyagawacho, Naka Ward, Yokohama, in an easy-to-stop-by location in the Noge and Hinodecho area. It suits both enjoying a drink one glass at a time at the counter and going out with a few friends while following the tap updates. For craft beer fans, this is a spot worth visiting on tap-list update days.
