"Ume-chu" is a collaboration beer from Mikkeller Tokyo × Minoh Beer. It is based on a sour beer with a pleasantly tart character, finished with generous amounts of fully ripened Nanko plums from Minabe Town, Wakayama Prefecture. According to Minoh Beer, the 2026 version has stronger sourness and plum character than last year, with 4.0% ABV and 23 IBU. It is characterized by a sweet-tart aroma, fruity umami, light acidity, and a dry finish.
