Seasonal pours at Beer O'clock

Beer O'clock, a beer pub in Chiba’s Chuo Ward, has added several autumn-focused pours to its lineup. The featured new tap is Kyoto Brewing’s Autumn Kimagure 2026, a 6.5% Red IPA brewed with American hops in a classic Cascadian-style interpretation.

The beer combines hop aromas reminiscent of citrus and pine with a rich malt character that suggests light toast. Its dry, drinkable finish is balanced by a moderate lingering aftertaste, making it a fitting choice for drinkers looking for both hop character and malt depth.

Available by the glass was Vlasta from Utopia Cider. This 8.0% cider is made with organically grown apples from the 60-year-old Benesov u Selenovitch orchard. The hand-picked apples are fermented naturally with wild yeast, including malolactic fermentation, and aged for four months in 225-liter French oak barrels followed by eight months in 225-liter Czech oak casks. The cider is made without filtration or other additives.

On September 22, Beer O'clock held “Wa to, Futo Beer 2026: Early Autumn — Meat Festival,” pairing special meat dishes with beer and cider. The shop was open from noon to 10 p.m., with the event beginning at 1 p.m. The special menu was available while supplies lasted.

With rotating taps and food designed to complement the drinks, Beer O'clock remains a destination for craft beer fans visiting the Chiba Station area. Seasonal releases such as Autumn Kimagure 2026 offer a good reason to check the current tap list before visiting.
