Beer O'clock, a craft beer pub in Chiba City’s Chuo Ward, has rotated four taps. The pub is open continuously from noon to 11 p.m. on Saturdays, making the new lineup suitable for both daytime drinking and an evening beer stop.

The standout is Daisen G Beer’s “Weihen Hop,” a 6.0% Fresh Hop Ale made with freshly harvested hops grown on the brewery’s own grounds in summer 2026. It is described as having gentle citrus aromas and bitterness characteristic of fresh hops. The name reflects the brewery’s idea of offering Daisen-grown hops back to Daisen, while also referring to the field’s former use as a plum orchard.

Harvest Moon’s “Yuzu Saison” combines the traditional Belgian saison style with yuzu juice added during fermentation and maturation. At 4.0% ABV, it is crisp and dry, with spicy and fruity notes alongside the citrus character of yuzu.

For drinkers looking for a more hop-forward option, Oni Densetsu’s “Gabu Oni Pale Ale 2026” is a collaboration with beer cafe HOPMAN. Mosaic and Citra form the main hop base, with KRUSH adding further character. The 6.0% American Pale Ale brings citrus and tropical impressions, a touch of resinous depth, and a firm bitterness while retaining an easy-drinking profile.

The darkest beer in the lineup is Miyazaki Hideji’s “Kurikuro,” a 9.0% Imperial Stout brewed with Miyazaki chestnut paste and highly roasted barley. Coffee-like roast, elegant chestnut aroma, and substantial body define the beer, which also received a gold medal at the 2022 World Beer Cup.

Located in Chiba’s Fujimi area, Beer O'clock offers a setting for exploring a broad range of craft beer styles. This tap rotation moves from bright fresh-hop aromatics and dry yuzu citrus to assertive hop bitterness and the deep roast character of chestnut stout. The pub has also announced a forthcoming BeerO'ctoberfest event.
