A small Mitaka beer pub with 10 taps and food built for pairing

Beer Pub Neko to Azarashi is a compact, counter-focused beer pub a short walk from the south exit of Mitaka Station. Its appeal is simple: a rotating craft beer lineup and dishes that work well alongside whatever is on tap that day.

On Thursday, June 4, the pub was open from 17:00 to 23:00 and announced one new keg: Johana Beer’s Hakama Ale IPA. It was described as malty, firmly bitter, and brown in color, suggesting a beer with both malt depth and a clear hop edge.

The day’s tap list covered 10 beers:
- Johana Beer, Hakama Ale IPA
- Oyama G Beer, Pale Ale
- Sankt Gallen, Suika Wheat
- GROUNDTAP, GROUNDTAP Stout
- Yokohama Bay Brewing, Bay Pilsner
- Shiga Kogen Beer, from scratch Blonde Ale
- AJB, Sour GrapeFruit Cooler Berliner Weisse
- Ushitora Brewery, Sachi Hop Session IPA
- Sankt Gallen, Green Bullet Hazy IPA
- T.Y.HARBOR, Wheat Ale

Food recommendations included Chinese-style char siu, a kitchen-style omelet, and pork stewed with spicy tomato. The pub also noted that weekday happy hour had started in June, with beer discounted by 100 yen until 18:30. It is the kind of place that works for a quick pint, a flight across styles, or a meal-first visit centered on the tap list.
