DO BREWING Restocks Its Popular Saison "SUMMER MADNESS"
Nagano-based DO BREWING announced the return of "SUMMER MADNESS" on Instagram as a "[re stock]." It is a 5.5% ABV saison packaged in November 2025, with the ingredient design adjusted from the previous batch. Because demand is strong toward year-end and stock is running low, the brewery is urging retailers to contact them early.
The return is a dry, lively saison
In a post at 11:19 on December 12, 2025, DO BREWING introduced the restocked "SUMMER MADNESS." The post labels it "Saison beer / Delightful beer," lists the alcohol content as 5.5%, and shows the packaging date as November 2025 (pkg NOV2025).
Changes in this batch
According to the brewery, the previous version was brewed with a single malt and a single hop, while this batch switches to a single malt + two hops composition. In addition, the recipe now includes a small amount of dry hopping. As for the flavor direction, as with the previous batch, the beer is designed not to emphasize saison-derived aromatics too strongly, while keeping the finish quite dry and light. The defining characteristic is a setup that preserves the saison character while keeping the aromatic presence restrained.
Already short on stock as demand rises, with year-end gift demand too
The post says that stock is already thin due to a combination of rising year-end demand and use as a year-end gift. In particular, retailers are being asked to get in touch early. It is clear that even a restock of a popular beer can move quickly.
One to watch from Nagano's DO BREWING
DO BREWING is a brewery based in Nagano. This "SUMMER MADNESS" is built less around pushing a strong personality and more around a design that encourages drinkability through dryness and lightness. For anyone looking for a saison that pairs well with food, or who prefers a style that does not lean too heavily on aroma, this looks like a bottle worth securing as soon as it returns to stock.
