Hin omoto Brewing to Host a September 28 Pop-Up with Beer, Snacks and Sake
Hin omoto Brewing & Beer Stand in Honkomagome, Tokyo, will host a taproom pop-up on Monday, September 28, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Guests can explore a broad beer lineup while enjoying snacks and sake from Mikatsu-tei.
A wide range of styles on tap
Hin omoto Brewing & Beer Stand is a brewpub located in Honkomagome, Bunkyo, Tokyo. On September 28, the venue will open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. with a tap list covering styles from dry-hopped lager to Belgian stout.
The lineup begins with Amber Lager, a 5.5% dry-hopped amber lager, followed by Little Thing, a 4.5% dry-hopped session ale. For hop-forward drinkers, the list includes the 7% hazy IPA Sanro Hazy and the 7.5% black IPA Yoiyo IPA.
Mashup IPA Ekuanot is a 6.5% Belgian IPA made with Ekuanot hops, while Rolling Lolly is a 7.5% American IPA, listed as available in limited quantity. The 5% Pineapple Gose brings pineapple to a gose-style beer, offering a more unusual direction within the selection.
The remaining beers are Best Bitter, an English best bitter at 4.5%, and Kuroshachi #4, a 7% Belgian stout. Together, the list offers lighter, bitter, hoppy and dark options for different preferences and pacing.
Snacks and sake from Mikatsu-tei
The pop-up will also feature Mikatsu-tei, serving snacks and sake. The announcement lists Junmai genshu varieties from Osaka Nikushui and Ishikawa Wajima Monogatari. This gives visitors the chance to pair the beer selection with Japanese sake and food in the brewery’s compact taproom setting.
Hin omoto Brewing & Beer Stand normally focuses on craft beer, with simple snacks such as kaki-pea crackers and dagashi. Regular hours are 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays and 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends and national holidays; the shop is closed on Wednesdays.
