DD4D BREWING revealed details of its new beer, “Salz ~Sansho Light Lager with Salt~,” in an Instagram post announcing the third collaboration with Hakata Shio Co.

This time, the theme is how to use salt. Built on a golden lager base, the beer is designed to add depth and a lively kick by incorporating Hakata no Shio and sansho pepper. The post highlights citrus-like aromas from the hops and sansho, along with a flavor in which the salt rounds out the malt character into a softer whole.
