DD4D Brewing, based in Matsuyama, Ehime, will participate in Toyonaka BEER BEAT 2026, a craft beer festival taking place at Harada Shrine in Toyonaka, Osaka, on October 24 and 25, 2026. The event will bring together breweries from across Japan.
DD4D Brewing has announced its participation in Toyonaka BEER BEAT 2026, a craft beer festival held at Harada Shrine in Toyonaka, Osaka. The festival will take place on Saturday, October 24, from 11:00 to 17:00, and Sunday, October 25, from 10:00 to 16:00.
Harada Shrine is located near Okamachi Station on the Hankyu Takarazuka Line. Breweries from Osaka, Hyogo, Shiga, Kyoto, Wakayama, Tokyo, Ishikawa, and other regions are scheduled to attend, with DD4D Brewing representing Ehime. Visitors will have the opportunity to compare beers from different parts of Japan while exploring the ingredients, brewing approaches, and regional character behind each brewery.
Toyonaka BEER BEAT was created from the idea of bringing a craft beer festival to Toyonaka. The city is associated with the history of Japan’s first beer production, and the festival aims to create a welcoming place where people can connect through beer. Organizers recommend traveling to the venue on foot or by public transportation.
DD4D Brewing traces its roots to a select shop founded in Matsuyama in 1998. In 2019, a brewery was established inside the shop, which became DD4D Brewing & Clothing Store. A second facility, DD4D Factory & Curiosities, began operating in the port district of Mitsuhama in 2021. The brewery has produced more than 300 beers for distribution in Japan and overseas.
Its portfolio spans a wide range of styles, including IPAs, lagers, and beers featuring fruit or spices. DD4D also frequently works with partners from industries beyond brewing, creating new beer experiences through collaborations.
The beers served at the festival have not yet been announced. Further details are expected through the brewery’s official channels. Alcohol consumption is prohibited for anyone under 20 in Japan.
