Fujisawa Beer House to Start Serving Fifth House Beer 'Yunagi' on July 30
Fujisawa Beer House will begin serving its fifth house-brewed beer, Yunagi, on July 30. The new release is a Dunkelweizen described as combining soft wheat-malt character with banana, clove, toasted dark malt, and a hint of caramel.
Fujisawa Beer is a brewery based in Fujisawa, Kanagawa. On its official site, the company describes the brewery as a place born in a shopping street, aiming to build a "circulation" among local people, shops, ingredients, and producers.
In its latest Instagram post, the brewery announced the start of service for its fifth house beer, "Yunagi (YŪNAGI)." It will be available from Thursday, July 30 at Fujisawa Beer House. The beer is a Dunkelweizen, and the post describes it as a beer with a soft wheat-malt texture, aromas reminiscent of banana and clove, plus layered notes of dark-malt toastiness and a subtle caramel character.
Fujisawa Beer’s core lineup includes Sazanami, Kochou, Kinpa, and Nagisa. With Yunagi joining that range, the brewery adds another beer that seems well suited to a slower evening and to pairing with food in Fujisawa.
