The beer pub Two Fingers in Tokyo's Ikebukuro has announced its latest tap list on Instagram. The post lists 10 kegs under "ON TAP NOW" and an additional two under "BACK UP BEER." It also notes that the next day is the birthday of Maki, a part-time staff member, and that it is two days before Nao's birthday.

The current lineup starts with the house beers named after the bar itself: "Highway to Helles (Helles)" and "Garage (APA)." They are joined by "Craft Rock: Drink All Day (Kölsch)" and "TWO FINGERS x NAMACHAn: Witcher's Smoothie (Smoothie Sour)," giving strong representation to distinctive domestic brews.

The international selection is also solid, with "WAR: Vita Amara (Italian Pilsner)," "Fidens: QDH Jasper (Hazy)," "Revision: What What What (Triple IPA)," and "WCB: Hop and Escape (Pilsner)" on tap. Rounding things out are "Little House: Tintype (Brown Ale)" and "Root + Branch: James (Nitro Stout)," offering a wide range from crisp lager styles to dark pours.

For backup, Fidens' "Alstroemeria (Double Hazy)" and "Free From Doubt (Triple Hazy)" are standing by. Planning ahead for keg turnover and lining up the next beer is very much in the spirit of a beer pub. At Two Fingers in Nishi-Ikebukuro, there is the pleasure of moving back and forth between house beers and guest beers while working through the labels that catch your eye.

The post also calls out kegs numbered 4, 6, 9, and 10 as ones to watch. If there is a beer that interests you, it would be wise to check in early.
