Craft Beer Market Jimbo-cho Taps 'Tamba Ume Sour' and 'Kamitama IPA'
At Craft Beer Market Jimbo-cho in Jimbocho, 'Tamba Ume Sour' and 'Kamitama IPA' were newly tapped on April 2. Anchored by these two 14th-anniversary collaborations, the more than 30 taps featured a wide lineup ranging from IPAs and stouts to rosé.
On April 2 at Craft Beer Market Jimbo-cho in Jimbocho, two 14th-anniversary collaboration beers appeared on the shop's "Today's BEERS!!" board. They were Umanchikku Mura Brewery's 'Oh My B.B.' and OTAMA BREWING's 'Kamitama IPA,' both listed at 690 yen for a half, 890 yen for a regular, and 1,090 yen for a pint.
The day's new tap addition was Tanbaji Brewery's 'Tamba Ume Sour.' The caption describes it as a sour ale steeped with organically grown ripe plums from Tanba City in Hyogo, with a refreshing aroma and a well-balanced acidity as its hallmarks. The other beer, 'Kamitama IPA,' was also displayed as an anniversary collaboration, making for a lineup that stands out as an early-spring pint.
The lineup is quite extensive, with plenty to choose from even among IPAs alone: 'Ocean Avenue,' 'Punk IPA,' 'Alternative IPA,' 'Glamorous IPA,' 'Phantom Bride IPA,' 'Joy Hoppositz,' and 'Robot Strip Club Hazy TIPA.' There are also 'Hoegaarden White,' 'Shironeko Banchi,' 'CheatDay#It's okay to indulge today, right?,' 'Bloust Saison,' 'Latte Stout,' and 'Osaru IPA,' and as a beer pub that highlights roast chicken, it's a place where you can take your time and compare beers alongside food.
