CraftBeer Bar BRONX, operating near Higashi-Urawa Station, is a beer pub boasting up to 21 taps. On Saturday, April 11, it was open continuously from 11:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., with happy hour starting at 11:30. It was a day that clearly showed how convenient it is for lunchtime drinks or a quick stop for a single beer.

The craft beer lineup for the day featured three beers: Y.MARKET BREWING's FANTASMA, Baird Brewing's Imperial IPA, and Matsumoto Brewery's Gekizaka Golden Mild Ale. From an IPA that lets you enjoy the contours of hops, to a powerful beer true to its name, and a golden-ale-style beer you can imagine as having a light malt character, the range for side-by-side tasting was clearly defined.

No shortage of regular options either. Asahi Super Dry was available in three pours: Kuroda pour, Super Cold, and Extra Cold. Asahi Draft Beer "Maruef" and "Kuro Nama" were also on the lineup. In addition, Orion The Draft, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, and Pilsner Urquell were all available, making for a lineup that caters to both craft fans and lager fans.

The interior has a relaxed counter that makes it easy to stop in for a drink, and the food menu, centered on Okinawan cuisine, is also extensive. While putting beer at the center, BRONX naturally lets you continue on to a meal as well. It's the kind of place you'd want to keep in mind on a day when you want to settle in and drink in Higashi-Urawa.
