Beer Pub Nekotoazarashi in Shimorenjaku, Mitaka, shared its July 30 draft lineup. The compact beer pub, with counter seating and a few small tables, is known for serving 10 rotating taps in a casual, beer-first setting.

The first pour is And Beer & Mitaka Yamaneko Brewery “Azarashi Pilsner Okaeri”, a 5.5% pilsner that returns to the board. The rest of the lineup spans a wide range of styles and strengths: Beer Herun “Shinjiko MOON weizenBock w/honey”, Shiga Kogen Beer “Pale Ale”, BLUE MAGIC “TaiwaN Beer Fruit & Spice Sour Ale”, Daisen G Beer “India Pale Saison”, Ushitora Brewery “Sennosake ni Natte Quadruple IPA”, Minami Aizu Mountain “GION Omatsuri IPA”, Sankt Gallen “Amber Ale”, Harvest Moon “Schwarz”, and Romantic Village “LIGHTLINE Saison IPA”.

That means the board covers everything from a lighter pilsner to a 12% quadruple IPA, with a darker, smaller-volume schwarzbier also on offer. The kitchen also got a larger air conditioner for the summer, and the post notes local cucumbers and edamame, tofu topped with cucumber, and fresh-basil gapao rice as food options. It is the kind of lineup that makes sense for slow drinking and steady snacking.

Reservations are accepted by message until the day before, and by phone during business hours. Hot Pepper is available on non-event days, so checking ahead is a practical move if one of these taps is the reason for the visit.
