HOP STAND Sannomiya, a beer pub within walking distance of Kobe-Sannomiya Station, is introducing an autumn blend made with two Rokko Beer favorites: Bay Ale and Brown Ale.

Bay Ale is a 5% ABV beer with an IBU of 30. Its defining feature is a bright citrus hop aroma and a lively, approachable character. Brown Ale is also 5% ABV, but with an IBU of 45. Roasted malt gives it a rounded finish, gentle bitterness and a soft mouthfeel.

Blending the two creates a seasonal profile that combines Bay Ale’s fresh hop expression with Brown Ale’s toasted malt depth. It offers a different way to enjoy Rokko Beer from a standard tasting flight, allowing the contrasting profiles to meet in a single pour.

The pub serves fresh Rokko Beer delivered directly from the brewery. In addition to Bay Ale and Brown Ale, the lineup may include Porter and White Daidai Ale. Guests can also choose three 180ml pours for a Rokko Beer tasting set, making it possible to compare the autumn blend with the individual beers.

Food is another important part of the experience. HOP STAND Sannomiya specializes in yakitori made with domestic chicken under the supervision of its affiliated restaurant, Nihatori-ya. The savory, grilled skewers pair naturally with both the hop aroma of Bay Ale and the malt richness of Brown Ale.

With its warm, casual atmosphere, the pub is suited to an after-work drink, a light dinner or a relaxed craft beer tasting in central Kobe. Availability and the exact beer lineup may change, so guests should confirm the current selection at the restaurant.
