HINO BREWING's 'Heisei Banana' on tap at Fructus Sakaba, with five draft beers introduced
The beer pub "Fructus Sakaba" in Osaka's Honmachi area announced a rotation of its draft craft beers on Instagram. The post introduces HINO BREWING's "Heisei Banana," along with the five beers currently on tap and the small plates that pair well with them.
At Fructus Sakaba in the Utsubohonmachi area of Osaka's Honmachi, the draft craft beer lineup has changed. In an Instagram post, the shop first introduces HINO BREWING's "Heisei Banana". It is described as a fruit weizen made with roasted bananas, with a smooth, silky mouthfeel, a light body, and restrained bitterness.
There are currently five taps in the shop. The labels visible in the post are:

As for food to pair with the beers, herring and bamboo shoot ajillo also appears on the menu. It is a dish made by butterflying herring and combining it with bamboo shoots sautéed with marjoram, and it can be enjoyed with bread; the remaining oil can also be used for pasta. In addition, Spanish mackerel and bonito flake curry is also on the menu that day.
Fructus Sakaba is a standing beer pub south of Utsubo Park. Its appeal is easygoing craft beer and food centered on Italian cuisine, with spices and herbs woven in, and draft beers that rotate frequently. The post says weekday visitors are welcome to drop in for just one casual drink, making it an easy place to stop by after work to check out the latest tap lineup.
