Kobe’s Brasserie a Route Introduces New IPA for Its First Anniversary
On April 28, the brewery Brasserie a Route in Kobe’s Nada Ward reported on Instagram that it had reached its first anniversary. Looking back on its booth at the April 18 and 19 “Bakuen” event, it shared thanks for the many visitors who stopped by and its enthusiasm for the second year, along with a new anniversary IPA.
Brasserie a Route, a brewery and beer space on Suido-suji in Kobe’s Nada Ward, reported on Instagram that it had reached its first-year milestone. In the post, the team referred to its booth at the beer festival “Bakuen,” held on April 18 and 19, and expressed gratitude that so many people came to drink, even noting that there were times when lines formed.
At the same time, it also acknowledged operational issues such as mistakes in the server setup, and showed a commitment to making improvements going forward. While describing the first year as the “culmination” of its efforts, the post stood out for its down-to-earth message that the experience gained there would be put to use in future pours and brewing.
As a brewery with an on-site brewing facility in the Suido-suji shopping street, Brasserie a Route has continued its business rooted in the local community. Thanks in part to its location in Kobe’s Nada district, it has been gaining presence as a place where everyday meals and craft beer can be enjoyed side by side. The post also announced the arrival of a new IPA to commemorate the first anniversary, and in year two, attention will be on both a broader lineup and the ability to make beer more consistently.
