A Honmachi beer pub that opens early

Fructus Sakaba in Utsubohonmachi, Osaka, is a beer pub that serves spice curry at lunch and craft beer and spice dishes at night. Inside, the first floor is standing room only and the second floor has table seating, giving it an atmosphere that's easy to enter alone. It's within walking distance of Osaka Metro Honmachi Station, and on the south side of Utsubo Park it's an easy place to drop in for a drink.

The tap lineup for the day

In the April 19 post, five draft craft beers were introduced. The lineup was as follows.

- AGE AGE SAME AGE / REPUBREW × Born in '91-'92 Brewers
- Alternative IPA / CRAFTROCK BREWING
- In The Key of Lime in The Coconut / DevilCraft
- Yellow Sky Pale Ale / Y.MARKET BREWING
- Kabel / Nara Brewing

The styles also span a wide range, from Czech Style Dark Lager, American IPA, Florida Weisse, Fruit Pale Ale, and Oktoberfest, making it easy to choose from a light first drink to something more substantial. From the mellow sip of a lager to the aroma of an IPA, the fruity tartness of a sour-style beer, and a seasonal Oktoberfest, it's a lineup you can match to your mood.

Enjoy it with snacks

On the food side, it offers boiled spring chrysanthemum dumplings. This is a dish that uses the aroma of spring chrysanthemum, combined with Pecorino Romano and maqaw, and is designed with beer pairing in mind. The post also mentioned butter chicken curry, making it a place where you can move back and forth between spice dishes and craft beer.

A place whose use is easy to picture

That day, it was announced that the bar would open "from early hours," making daytime drinking another point in its favor. The post also included notice of lunch plans for April and a preview of a TTO event on June 27, showing that the place is active not only for everyday use but also as an event venue. Watching the beer lineup, it's worth remembering as a place where you can go from daytime drinking to a nightcap.
