The beer pub “NEIGHBOR” in Nogata, Nakano Ward, Tokyo, has announced that it will be serving tacos again on April 11 and 12 for the first time in a while. The post also notes that about a year and a half has passed since the last event, and says this time it will be held in the bar’s current form.

The newly released “Today’s on Tap” features eight beers in total. The latest keg to be tapped is Akita Akr Beer’s “Akita Ginjo Beer / Weizen” (5%), joined by Shiga Kogen Beer’s “Porter” (5.5%) and “SNOW MONKEY IPA / Hazy IPA” (6%). From dark, malt-forward beers with a sense of body to hop-aromatic IPAs, the lineup spans a wide range.

The rest of the lineup includes Gangi Brewing’s “WILY FOX / Dunkel” (4.5%) and “ZESTER / Session IPA” (4%), BURNT MILL BREWERY’s “Diamond Lake / West Coast Pale Ale” (4.8%) and “Crimson Highway / Red IPA” (5.5%), and FLORA FERMENTATION’s “Waldschrat / Schwarz Weizen” (5.5%). With roasty styles such as Dunkel, Porter, and Schwarz Weizen alongside hazy IPAs and West Coast beers, there is plenty to enjoy when thinking about food pairings.

NEIGHBOR is a craftbeer&grill spot that is easy to use as a place to drink well in the Nogata area. The post also highlights recommendations such as white potato salad, homemade lamb and harissa sausage, tuna carpaccio, jerk chicken rice, and shirasu and genovese pasta, so the fun of choosing beers to go with tacos seems likely to expand even more.
