At BEER & MUSIC Cafe Raisin-do in Ibaraki, Osaka, the shop will be closed temporarily on Monday, May 4, 2026, a national holiday, while the draft lineup from May 5 onward has been announced. True to its beer-and-music pub style, the selection is arranged so guests can enjoy a cross-section of beers with different flavors.
On the May 5 draft list, Ise Kadoya Beer’s limited release "Nikukyu IPA : West Coast IPA" is first up. It is being presented as a 29th anniversary beer, described as a glass that layers citrus, piney, and tropical aromas over a dry finish. Also on deck are Baeren Brewery’s "Coronia : Kölsch", Minoh Beer × Mikkeller’s "Ume-chu ≪ Mikkeller Beer × Minoh Beer ≫ : Sour Beer", and Iwate Kura Beer’s "Raspberry Pink : Fruit Beer", giving the lineup a lighter side as well.
Among the standards, "Draft Pilsner Urquell : Pilsner Urquell on draft" and SAPPORO BEER’s "SORACHI 1984 : Pilsner" are also planned, making this an appealing list for anyone who wants to enjoy hop character and lager-like crispness.
Further ahead, under "comin' up next", Ise Kadoya Beer’s "Sake Lees Hazy IPA ZAKU Shinryoku : Hazy IPA", Minoh Beer’s "Osaru IPA : Golden Ale IPA", and Baeren Brewery’s "Rye Beer : Roggen", "Alt : Alt", and "Maibock : Mai Bock" are also being teased. With hazy, IPA, rye, alt, and bock all on the horizon, a wide range of comparison tasting seems likely at this bar.
The food leans toward dishes that pair well with beer, including chicken liver simmered in wine vinegar, smoked domestic mackerel and Nagasaki kamaboko fish cake, cabbage styled after sauerkraut, house-made pickles, zangi fried chicken, and a meat-loaded pizza. From malt sweetness and hop bitterness to beers with acidity, the appeal lies in choosing dishes with food pairings in mind.
