This Week at TK Brewing
TK Brewing in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture announced this week's business update along with the release of two new beers. The brewery was launched in Kawasaki in 2017 as a locally rooted brewery, and it delivers freshly brewed beer through its taproom and event appearances.
May 30 is a weekend with overlapping events
The post announced that the brewery will take part in the "Musashi-Fuchu Beer Festival @ Okunitama Shrine" on Saturday, May 30. It says the shop will remain open as usual even while operating at the event, creating a setup where beer can be enjoyed both on-site and at the store. It was also reported that TKB beer is scheduled to be on tap at "Ben's Slop Shop" in Kichijoji during an event held on May 30 and 31.
The double release features two beers with different drinking directions
The new releases introduced this week are #455 Mosaic Fusion and #456 Grapefruit SMaSH. Both are 6.0%, but their flavor designs contrast sharply.
- #455 Mosaic Fusion 6.0% IBU 63 / Hybrid IPA
A design that combines the soft mouthfeel of a hazy beer with the sharp bitterness characteristic of a West Coast IPA. Tropical aromas from Mosaic come to the forefront.
- #456 Grapefruit SMaSH 6.0% IBU 28 / Fruited Pale Ale
A pale ale loaded with grapefruit. Built as a SMaSH beer, it clearly showcases Amarillo's character. It is being presented as an easy-drinking beer for warmer weather.
A regular that has joined 13 taps too
It was also reported that #443 nitro Kawasakey has been connected to 13 taps. The beer, which has long emphasized its Kawasaki brewery identity, is once again gaining presence in the current lineup.
In step with the humid air before the rainy season starts, TK Brewing has rolled out two beers with strong aroma and a clear drinking profile. Along with its event appearance, this is the week to keep an eye on the changes at the Kawasaki taproom as well.
