Five beers on tap at NEIGHBOR

NEIGHBOR, a beer pub in Nogata, Nakano, Tokyo, has introduced a five-beer tap list built mainly around lager-style beers. The selection is being served alongside a Chinese-inspired menu featuring white kimchi, squid somen with green sansho pepper, mapo tofu, Shanghai-style fried noodles with shrimp and lime, and new lamb shumai.

The tap list includes:

- Tsuki to Taiyo BREWING “Uryu Style Lager” (5%)
- NOVORU “Kureru / Amber Ale” (5%)
- Passific Brewing “SUKITTU / Smoked Helles with Sudachi” (5%)
- OHLOY BREWING “koero / Pilsner” (5%)
- CRAFTROCK BREWING “Tropical Splash / Margarita Gose”

Passific Brewing’s newly tapped “SUKITTU” combines a gentle smoky aroma with clean malt character, mild sudachi acidity, bitterness, and a spicy edge. Its crisp profile should work well with richly seasoned dishes and autumn ingredients.

OHLOY BREWING’s “koero” is a pilsner with a silky, light texture from rice and a fresh aroma from New Zealand hops. The beer finishes sharply and cleanly, with subtle herbal and floral notes.

The remaining choices range from Tsuki to Taiyo BREWING’s rice lager and NOVORU’s amber ale to CRAFTROCK BREWING’s Margarita-inspired gose, “Tropical Splash.” NEIGHBOR is located at 6-30-26 Nogata, Nakano, Tokyo, on the first floor of J-ARC Nogata. Tap availability may change, so guests should check the latest list when visiting.
