Booth at the Marugame Castle Festival

Kyogoku Beer, brewed in Kyogoku Town, Hokkaido, announced that it will set up a booth at the Castle Town Specialty Local Products Fair within the "Marugame Castle Festival" in Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture. The venue is Marugame Castle Citizen's Plaza, and the event is scheduled for May 3 (Sunday) through May 4 (Monday, holiday), from 10:00 to 18:00.

The post said that Kyogoku Beer will participate in this fair for the second year in a row. In addition to selling draft beer and bottled beer at the venue, it will also offer croquettes, fried potatoes, Kyogoku Pudding, and Katsugen, creating a lineup that lets visitors enjoy the taste of Kyogoku Town, Hokkaido together with beer.

Kyogoku Beer is a microbrewery in Kyogoku Town, Hokkaido, at the foot of Mount Yotei. It is known for brewing beer using the town's famous water and reflecting the character of the town. This booth also serves as a place for exchange based on the historical connection between Marugame and Kyogoku. The post also noted that the origins of Kyogoku Town trace back to Kyogoku Takanori, the former lord of the Marugame Domain, once again introducing the relationship between the two regions.

An event booth like this is appealing not only because you can drink the brewery's beer, but also because you can enjoy the local background and food pairings as part of the experience. For Kyogoku Beer as well, this booth should be a chance to bring Hokkaido craft beer to a venue in Kagawa and make a strong impression alongside local specialties.
