The Limited Beer That Arrived

The beer pub Golden Garden in Shintenchi, Naka Ward, Hiroshima City, has received "Rinki Sakura Hen ~Wheat Wine~," a barrel-aged beer from HIROSHIMA NEIGHBORLY BREWING (HNB). Golden Garden is also known as a place closely connected with HNB where people can enjoy craft beer in Hiroshima, making it an essential stop for fans seeking distinctive barrel-aged brews.

What Is "Rinki Sakura Hen ~Wheat Wine~"?

This beer is the third release in the "HIROSHIMA BARREL RELAY PROJECT." It was aged for about 19 months on a base of whiskey barrels from SAKURAO BREWERY & DISTILLERY, then further matured in wine barrels and peated whiskey barrels, and finally finished by blending two barrel-aged beers. The style is wheat wine, with an ABV of 8%. Its defining feature is a layered flavor profile, combining the soft tartness from wheat, the fruitiness of wine-barrel aging, and smoky notes from peat.
