North Island Beer is a craft brewery that has been brewing in Ebetsu, Hokkaido since 2003. On its official website, the brewery says it produces five standard beers as well as limited-edition and seasonal beers, and that its directly operated shop in central Sapporo serves up to 12 kinds of draft beer. Rooted in Ebetsu's manufacturing culture, the brewery is known for continuing to make beers that make use of local ingredients and a sense of seasonality.

This time, the event announced on Instagram is "Ryokuen -RYOKUEN-", a replacement for the flower-viewing gathering on May 24 that was canceled due to rain. The event will be held on Sunday, June 28, from 11:00 to 15:00, and the venue is Nishikiyama Tenmangu Shrine (38-1 Yoyogi-cho, Nopporo, Ebetsu City). While the season shifts from cherry blossoms to fresh new greenery, the post invites people to "enjoy craft beer under the lush green leaves while feeling the early summer breeze."

On the day of the event, food such as yakitori, yakisoba, and stone-oven pizza will also be available, and North Island's draft beers and limited-edition beers will be served as well. Admission is 4,500 yen for adults, 1,000 yen for elementary school students and older, and free for preschool children. Please note that the event will be canceled in the event of rain.

Participants who have already made reservations are being contacted by direct message in order, and new participants can register by DM or in person at the shop. This event, which has taken on a different form from the spring flower-viewing gathering, looks set to offer a chance to enjoy the brewery's beer and food in the local atmosphere of Ebetsu.
