A limited can from Shiraoi


Susukino Yell STAND, a beer pub on the basement floor of COCONO SUSUKINO in central Sapporo, has brought in a new limited-release beer from The Old Grey Brewery in Shiraoi. The beer is ICAR Edition “Horo Horo Sunset”, a Vienna lager presented in a special can design.

The can features the name “ICAR 2026,” which refers to the 20th International Congress on Animal Reproduction held in Obihiro. That background gives the release an extra layer of character: it is not only a seasonal arrival, but also a beer tied to a specific event and a clearly defined story.

Flavor built around malt and brightness


According to the shop description, Horo Horo Sunset is inspired by the sunset over Mount Horohoro in Shiraoi. In the glass, it shows an amber hue, with toasted malt richness and a subtle biscuit-like sweetness. Gentle herbal notes and a light citrus aroma add lift, while the finish stays clean and crisp.
