Streetlight Brewing’s le chemin de la bière 2026 Arrives at Susukino Yell Stand
Susukino Yell Stand, a standing beer pub connected to Susukino Station, is serving Streetlight Brewing’s le chemin de la bière 2026. Made with pomace from Hokkaido’s Tabiji grapes, this farmhouse ale combines wine-like aromas, refreshing acidity, and a subtle hop bitterness.
A beer shaped by Hokkaido’s landscapes
le chemin de la bière 2026 is a farmhouse ale created through a journey across Hokkaido. Streetlight Brewing, based in Sōen, Sapporo, uses wine pomace from TAKIZAWA WINERY in Mikasa. The pomace comes from Tabiji, a grape variety native to Hokkaido and associated with the Yoichi region.
The pomace is collected on the day of brewing, transported to Sapporo, and added to beer that is already fermenting. This process connects vineyards, wineries, and breweries through one carefully timed collaboration.
Wine-like aroma and refreshing acidity
The beer offers an aroma reminiscent of orange wine, followed by refreshing notes of mint and ginger. A pleasant acidity spreads across the palate, while a gentle hop bitterness remains in the finish. At 5.0% ABV, it presents the fruit and wine character in a bright, approachable farmhouse ale format.
The beer is categorized as “Farmhouse Ale Style w/Grape” and uses barley malt, wheat malt, Hokkaido wine pomace, and hops. Its layered character should make it an interesting choice for drinkers who enjoy exploring the space between beer and wine.
Susukino Yell Stand is located in the basement of COCONO SUSUKINO in central Sapporo. With direct access from Susukino Station and a casual standing-bar format, it is a convenient place to stop for a quick local beer. The new Streetlight Brewing release offers a taste of Hokkaido’s agricultural and brewing culture in a single glass.
