Japan's first stadium brewery

THE STADIUM BREWS NAGASAKI, located inside Nagasaki Stadium City in Nagasaki, is widely recognized as Japan's first brewery to brew beer inside a soccer stadium. The venue sits at 7-1 Saiwaimachi in Nagasaki City, with a brewery restaurant on the 2nd floor and a bar on the 3rd floor of Peace Stadium.

The first-floor brewing area runs 10 tanks and is expected to produce about 90,000 liters a year. Because the brewery and the dining spaces are integrated, guests can enjoy beer that has been brewed on-site and poured immediately in the same complex. The official site describes the 3rd-floor bar as a place where visitors can taste freshly made beer on the spot.

A lineup shaped by Nagasaki

The brewery plans to produce roughly 100 original beers a year. Alongside familiar styles such as pale ale and India pale ale, the lineup includes local recipes like V Beer, a fruity beer made with yuko, a citrus fruit from Nagasaki. The concept blends drinkability with regional character.

The venue is also expected to feature craft beers from Japan and around the world. On match days and event days, the atmosphere of the stadium will pair naturally with the beer selection, while the restaurant is also designed for everyday use.

More than a match-day stop

THE STADIUM BREWS NAGASAKI is part of the broader Nagasaki Stadium City development led by the Japanet group. Its role goes beyond match-day hospitality: it also gives people a reason to visit the stadium complex in daily life.

The 2nd floor functions as a brewery restaurant, while the 3rd floor has a sports-bar feel. Both are designed around craft beer and food that works well with it. In a city with a growing craft beer scene, this venue stands out for combining stadium architecture, on-site brewing, and freshly poured beer in one place.
