Craft Beer Scissors Akihabara highlights 4 Himitsu Beer releases and 15 taps
Craft Beer Scissors Akihabara announced 4 guest beers and a 15-item tap list for the day in a post dated May 10, 2026. Alongside new beers from Himitsu Beer, drafts from Nobody Brewing and Teenage Brewing are on tap.
Four Himitsu Beers Arrive
Craft Beer Scissors Akihabara announced the arrival of guest beers in a May 10 post. This time, four beers from Himitsu Beer are on the lineup: "Wani Stachio," "Secret House," "Kawauso Enya," and "Kawauso Kiyari."
"Wani Stachio" is a beer that layers pistachio's nutty character onto a dry weizen. "Secret House" is a juicy, silky NE IPA collaboration with Little House Brew from Connecticut on the U.S. East Coast.
"Kawauso Enya" is a farmhouse ale with peach and thyme aromas, while "Kawauso Kiyari" is a noble IPA brightened by European hops. The styles vary widely, making this a lineup that lets you compare beers by aroma direction.
This Day's Tap List
The tap list for the day, dated May 10, 2026, featured 15 beers. Nobody Brewing lined up "The House," "The Glitch," "The Folk," and "The Slowcore," and also added "Tidal Cycles" from Nobody Brewing × Black Tide Brewing.
From Teenage Brewing, "SHOHEI Zen," "Sound Clash," "Second Coming," "KENYA SANA MATUNDA," "The Loft Jazz," "Orange Circle," and "Turning Dragon" appear. The collaborations include Black Tide Brewing × Teenage Brewing's "Heaven's Age" and Seoul Brewing × Teenage Brewing's "Holy MORI." The set closes with Good Hops' "MURAKAMI SEVEN Lager."
A Place to Drink Slowly in Akihabara
Craft Beer Scissors Akihabara is a beer pub in Taito, Taito Ward, Tokyo. In the post, the shop said it would be open until 10 p.m. that day and would also support takeaway in growlers and plastic cups. You can of course take your time inside, but it's also appealing that you can take home a label you liked and enjoy it later.
Along with the breadth of its draft lineup, the post clearly communicated the guest-beer updates, making it easy to check what beers are available that day. It's the kind of place to keep in mind when you're looking for a new pint in Akihabara.
