CRAFT BEER BASE leaf (2F, North Building, Grand Green Osaka, Osaka) announced its business hours and tap list for Friday, April 17. Business hours are 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., with food last order at 10:00 p.m. and drinks last order also at 10:00 p.m. Reservations are accepted from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

That day's lineup consists of 15 taps in total: 10 original beers and 5 guest beers. Among the originals are "leaf," brewed with sage and lemongrass; the blond ale "BLONDE"; the classically designed "PALE ALE"; and "LAVENDER & CHAMOMILE," which combines lavender and chamomile, offering a lineup with clearly distinct aromas and drinking profiles. If you want to enjoy hop character, "MIX JUICY 013" is one to watch, and "Ikeda Mikan Wit," with its citrus notes, is another highlight.

The guest selections include Yokohama Bay Brewing's "Bay Pilsner," Chuckanut Brewery's "Vienna Lager," Ise Kadoya Beer's "Spring Whisper," RODENBACH CLASSIC, and Daisen G Beer's "Wheat Wine 2023." The range spans pilsner and lager to freestyle ale, Flemish red brown, and barrel-aged wheat wine, making it easy to build a tasting comparison all in one place.

The shop's comments also mentioned the pleasure of drinking while looking out at the greenery through the windows, as well as taking it easy at the counter seats. Rather than a lineup that pushes flashy appeal, this seems like a day for calmly savoring beers whose umami builds gradually. In particular, PALE ALE is recommended as a beer that brings out the balance between hops and malt, and it should pair well with meat dishes and American food.
