Five bottled beers from Yamaguchi Ji Beer

The beer pub "taki" in Shibuya's Sakuragaoka neighborhood introduced its bottled beers in an Instagram post on April 11. This batch consists of Yamaguchi Ji Beer's lineup: Pale Ale, Stout, Weizen, Yamada Nishiki Lager, and IPA. All are 330 ml bottles, making it easy to compare the different styles within the same brewery.

Three draft beers that day

The Tap List for the same day featured Iwate Kura Beer's "Ko Beer", Akishika Sake Brewery × Minoh Beer's "Saruyama Shikao", and Baird Brewing's "Rising Sun Pale Ale". While the bottles showcased breadth, the draft lineup brought together three beers with different personalities, very much in taki's style. It's an easy combination for everyone from people who want something light and drinkable to those who want to savor aroma and finish.

A shop that balances sake and craft beer

`taki` is a beer pub serving Japanese sake and craft beer selected from around the country. It is located on the 3rd floor of the Shibuya Johnson Building at 17-12 Sakuragaokacho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, in a spot that's easy to reach from Shibuya Station, yet still offers a calm atmosphere for enjoying a drink. Because the food is also worth enjoying, it's a place where you can take your time with meals while using beer comparisons as the centerpiece.

On April 11, it was open from 16:00 to 24:00, making it a good stop for those looking for the day's rotating draft and bottled beers. Start with Yamaguchi Ji Beer's standards and character in bottles, then follow each brewery's signature on draft. It was the kind of day that suited that style of drinking.
