Bakusyusyokudou 3F-22, a beer pub in the Nibancho area of Sendai near Kitayobancho, has featured Hazy labo’s Manilita NDH as a guest beer. The post lists it as a Hazy IPA with 6.5% ABV.

What stands out is the brewing approach: it uses the new Manilita hop, but does not use dry hopping. The aroma is described as starting with fresh banana esters, then moving into muscat-like and milky candy notes, with a balance of sweetness and a crisp, non-fatiguing finish.

Bakusyusyokudou 3F-22 is a tucked-away spot on the third floor of the Yaoyoshi Building in Nibancho, Aoba Ward, Sendai, and it keeps more than 60 craft beers on hand. Asian, Thai, and ethnic dishes are also part of the draw, making it a good fit both for chasing the character of a single beer and for pairing drinks with a relaxed meal. A clearly aromatic hazy IPA like this should work especially well with the pub’s spice-forward food.
