North Island Beer Releases Limited West Coast IPA “Glide Drive”
North Island Beer in Ebetsu, Hokkaido, will release its limited beer “Glide Drive” on April 24. It is a West Coast IPA that combines aromas reminiscent of citrus and ripe fruit with firm bitterness and a smooth finish.
North Island Beer, based in Ebetsu, Hokkaido, has announced the start of sales for its limited beer “Glide Drive.” The release date is April 24. It will be offered in both keg and bottle formats, and consumer bottles will begin accepting orders on the official online store at 10:00 a.m. on April 24, with shipments starting sequentially from April 25. In addition, direct sales and sales by volume are also planned at the Ebetsu brewery on April 25.
This beer is a West Coast I.P.A. with an ABV of 6.5% and an IBU of 50. The hops used are Idaho7, Columbus, Chinook, and Mosaic. According to the brewery’s description, the moment you bring the glass close, aromas evoking multiple citrus fruits and ripe sweet fruit spread out, and when you take a sip, firm bitterness and gentle sweetness come together in the finish. The fruity aroma adds depth to the body, creating a design that aims for both lightness and satisfying drinkability.
