Rokko Beer to launch canned BEE'S HONEY ALE after Expo popularity
Rokko Beer announced that it will soon release BEE'S HONEY ALE in cans, an updated version of its honey ale that drew attention at the Osaka-Kansai Expo. The beer is made with domestic honey and will be sold through selected outlets rather than Rokko Beer’s official online shop.
A honey-driven can release
Rokko Beer announced on Instagram that it will soon begin selling `BEE'S HONEY ALE` in cans. The beer is a revised version of its honey ale that became popular at the Osaka-Kansai Expo, brewed with domestic honey and positioned as a special craft beer. A limited beer that had long been loved at the Nunobiki Herb Garden confectionery workshop has now been made more widely available.

According to the post, the beer opens with a soft floral honey aroma. Gentle malt sweetness and the rounded depth of an ale come together, while the finish stays clean and light. Chilled well and poured into a glass, the amber color and rising aroma should make for an especially expressive serve.
Rokko Beer operates a taproom and bottle shop at its second factory in Arinocho, Kita Ward, Kobe. The brewery is known for its Kobe-grown identity and its conditioning approach in cans, and this release fits that style: aromatic, approachable, and food-friendly.
Recommended pairings include herb-seasoned chicken saute, roasted duck, strongly flavored cheeses such as Camembert or blue cheese, and vanilla ice cream with honey for a dessert-style finish. Planned sales outlets are Kobe Yokojo, the Kobe Yokojo online shop, Nunobiki Herb Garden Herbal Market, and Tom's Cafe Maiko Promenade. The beer will not be sold through Rokko Beer’s official online store.
