Fukuchiyama beer comes to central Kyoto

Craft Bank’s September announcement includes its participation in “Yoru BiVi – KYOTO BEER NIGHT MARKET,” scheduled for September 25, 2026, at BiVi Nijo in Kyoto. The outdoor event will run from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the east side of the complex.

Several breweries are expected to take part, creating an opportunity to compare a range of craft beers in the city. Craft Bank will bring beers brewed in Fukuchiyama, making the event an accessible way for Kyoto residents and visitors to discover the brewery’s lineup.

Brewing in a former bank building

Craft Bank is based in Fukuchiyama, Kyoto, where it brews beer in a renovated former bank building. Its official website describes the brewery’s concept with the phrase “Let’s do something with a beer in hand.” The site also introduces an adjoining restaurant serving seven craft beers alongside food. The brewery is approximately a five-minute walk from Fukuchiyama Station.

The brewery’s use of a former bank as both a brewing space and a gathering place gives its beers a distinct local context. This appearance at BiVi Nijo will allow beer fans to experience a taste of Fukuchiyama without traveling to the brewery itself.

Details such as the beers available and serving arrangements may change, so visitors should check the latest announcements from Craft Bank and the venue before attending.
