The brewpub "Nomcraft Juzo Taproom" in Juzo, Osaka, announced its latest tap list in an Instagram post on April 17. Centered on house-brewed NOMCRAFT beers and rounded out with guest brewery selections, it's an easy-to-understand lineup for beer fans who want to compare different pours.

All 15 beers on tap that day included a wide range from lager to double IPA. From NOMCRAFT, there were the crisp "NOMCRAFT LAGER," the classic "NOMCRAFT IPA," the citrusy "JUSO XPA," "KNIGHT FISHERMAN," which evokes layered hop character, and the rich "MYSTIC TIGER" and "DOUBLE NOMCRAFT IPA." In addition, "IRISH STOUT -Nitro ver.-" was introduced as a collaboration with Kyoto Beer Lab.

The guest lineup was just as strong. BrewBeast from Iwate brought in "BEASTIE," "IMPACT," "COLD WAVE," "LIGHTNING," "REINDEER," and "ECLIPSE," spanning styles such as Pale Ale, Hazy IPA, DDH Juicy DIPA, IPL, Fruit Wood Sour Ale, and Fruit Stout. CAMOSI BREWING from Fukuoka also appeared with "Dry & Heavy / Hazy IPA," making it easy to compare the differences in expression even within the IPA family.

As a brewpub conveniently located near Juso Station, what makes this place interesting is that you can start with the house beers and then sample the character of breweries from other regions. The post also noted that the following day would be the first anniversary main event, and urged visitors to plan ahead since the taproom was expected to be busy. Because the draft lineup changes quickly here, it seems best to visit early if there is a beer you're interested in.
