Mugibaru in Kamata Announces Tokaido Beer’s 2nd Anniversary Hazy and 8 Other Beers
Mugibaru, the beer pub in Nishikamata, Ota Ward, Tokyo, has published its tap list, including a hazy IPA brewed for its second anniversary. In addition to VERTERE, DD4D, Ise Kadoya Beer, and Asahi, three more beers from Uchu Brewing, Yellow Beer Works, and Repubrew are also lined up in the NEXT section.
The beer pub Mugibaru in Nishikamata, Ota Ward, Tokyo, announced its latest tap list on Instagram. In the post, it introduced not only the five beers currently on tap, but also three “NEXT” candidates for the next rotation, making it a lineup that is fun to follow as the kegs turn over.
The current lineup is led by “Mugibaru 2nd Anniversary Kinako-Colored Fluffy Hazy” (Tokaido Beer / Hazy IPA 6%), followed by “Efuresia” (VERTERE / IPA 6%), “Marmalade Man” (DD4D / Citrus Hazy IPA 6.5%), “Sabro's IPA” (Ise Kadoya Beer / American IPA 6%), and “Jukusen” (Asahi / Pilsner 5.5%). With options ranging from hazy to IPA to pilsner, it offers an easy choice from something light and crisp to something that really brings the hops.
Also announced as NEXT were “GOLEM” (Uchu Brewing / DDH West Coast IPA 6.5%), “Juicy pop” (Yellow Beer Works / Hazy IPA 6%), and “FLASH HOP IPA” (Repubrew / American IPA 7.9%). The lineup spans breweries from different regions, making it a great set for side-by-side tasting. The post also mentioned sashimi of wild bluefin tuna, which makes it very Mugibaru-like in how it pairs beer with food.
