Beer Stand Amber Rondo, a beer pub in Honcho, Aoba Ward, Sendai, opened a little late at 5:00 p.m. on August 27. The post also noted that seats were still available and announced the next service times: 4:00 p.m. on August 28, and 3:00 p.m. on August 29 and 30.

The headline beer was "Tomodachi," a collaboration between Burnt Mill Brewery and Northern Monk Brewery. According to the post, Northern Monk brewer Hayashi also took part in the brew day. The beer is described as a modern British pale ale with biscuit-like malt character from Yorkshire-grown Halcyon malt, plus aromas of apricot, lychee, and tropical fruit from Challenger, Ernest, Cascade, and Harlequin hops.

The draft lineup also included Akita Akria Beer "Akita Bijin no Beer," ISHINOMAKI HOP WORKS "Makikaze IPA," BE EASY Brewing "Tohoku 6 Hop Hazy," Fukushimaji Beer "Momo no Lager," HOPDOG Brewing's Sendai CBF 2026 original "WAN! more CHEERS" WC Pilsner, GAME BREW "Morning Glory" and "The Parkside," and Mikkeller "Pretzel Bock" and "Pacific Pier."

The appeal here is simple: a Honcho beer pub pouring a mix of Japanese regional craft, imported names, and an event-original beer from the same counter, with gyoza on the side. It is the kind of lineup that makes a quick stop turn into a longer session.
