Fuku-Haku Brewery in Miyawaka, Fukuoka, is highlighting PROUST SAISON, a saison from its PROUST series. The brewery presents it as a light and refreshing beer suited to the changing season, when cooler days are becoming more common but the weather remains unsettled.

PROUST SAISON is characterized by its light body, fruity aroma, and refreshing taste. At 5.5% ABV, it has the lowest alcohol content in the PROUST series. Pouring the beer into a glass brings out a rich aroma reminiscent of melon, followed by a bright and easy-drinking finish. Its approachable character makes it suitable for people who do not often drink craft beer.

Saison is a Belgian-born beer style that was originally brewed to refresh farm workers during agricultural work. In keeping with that history, the style is known for its light and invigorating drinkability. Fuku-Haku Brewery recommends pairing PROUST SAISON with seafood dishes.

The beer has received a bronze medal at the International Beer Cup and a silver medal at the Japan Great Beer Awards, recognizing its aroma and balanced drinkability.

At the taproom, PROUST SAISON is available in 120 ml, 280 ml, and 400 ml pours priced at 380 yen, 650 yen, and 900 yen, respectively. Takeaway bottles are priced at 800 yen. FUKUHAKU BREWERY in Kamiooguma, Miyawaka, is open on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. Its light saison is a natural choice for a relaxed meal, especially with seafood.
