Adachi Brewery to Open "Beer Stand Asakusa" in Early May
Adachi Brewery announced on Instagram that it will open its new shop, "Beer Stand Asakusa," in Asakusa in early May. Preparations are underway for the brewery's new base as it continues to offer craft beer from Tokyo's Adachi Ward.
In an Instagram post on March 26, Adachi Brewery announced, "Beer Stand Asakusa will open in early May! Stay tuned!" making clear its plan to open "Beer Stand Asakusa" in Asakusa. The Japanese text in the post also said, "Adachi Brewery Beer Stand Asakusa will open in early May," indicating that the opening is slated for early May.
Adachi Brewery is based in Tokyo's Adachi Ward, and its online store offers pale ales, IPAs, hazy IPAs, Weizens, porters, and more. Its lineup ranges from hop-forward ales to Weizens that pair well with food and dark beers with roasted character, making it a selection that can be enjoyed both for an everyday drink and for tasting comparisons.
This Asakusa opening can be seen as a move to expand its reach from Adachi Ward, where its brewing base is located, to Asakusa, a district also known as a classic downtown sightseeing area. With the name "Beer Stand" in the shop's title, the concept suggests a casual place to drop in, but at this stage the specific beers to be served and the operating format have not been disclosed. In future updates, attention will likely focus on the opening date, the menu, and which labels will be available on draft.
