Tap Info

On Friday, May 22, "(New) Six-Day Week" from Kyoto Brewing was tapped at Craft Beer Bar & Bottle Shop Progress in Nakahara Ward, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The shop is open from 16:00 to 23:00 on weekdays and from 13:00 to 23:00 on weekends and holidays, making it easy to stop by after work or earlier in the day on days off.

Beer on Tap

"(New) Six-Day Week" is a Belgian Session IPA with an alcohol content of 4.5%. According to the Brewer’s Note, it is presented as a beer with a dry, crisp mouthfeel layered with fruity notes from Belgian yeast, while the hop blend brings out aromas of citrus and tropical fruit. A recipe refresh has made the fruit-forward flavor and aroma feel even more vivid, resulting in a finish that aims to balance lightness and aroma.

About the Shop

Progress is a beer pub and bottle shop in the Musashi-Kosugi area. The interior is suited to casually stopping in for a drink, and in addition to bar service, it also offers takeaway of draft beer by volume. Besides serving beer in plastic cups or PET bottles, you can also take it home if you bring a carbonated-beverage-safe container. Cashless payment only; the outdoor seating area allows pets, and leash hooks are available.

Its location near the station makes it a place where you can not only drink craft beer on the spot, but also choose to take it home and enjoy it later. This latest tap is another beer to watch for people who want to take their time with a Belgian-style IPA that emphasizes aroma.
