The beer pub Mugibaru in Nishi-Kamata, Ota Ward, Tokyo, updated its tap lineup for the day on Instagram together with guidance for guests visiting with dogs.

The post calls for wearing dog diapers when letting dogs walk on the floor, using a cafe mat when placing them on chairs, and also asks guests not to place dog bowls on the floor or share human tableware. The basic rules for visiting with a dog are clearly laid out. As a place with a resident shop dog, it is set up with consideration for making time spent with beloved pets comfortable and pleasant.

For that day's "beers of the day," the lineup included Hoppukotan's "HOP IN MY HEAD" (Double IPA, 6%), Sankt Gallen's "Pineapple Ale" (Brut IPA, 5%), Hime Beer’s "Kalan Iyokan Fruit Ale" (Fruit Ale, 2%), Uchu Brewing's "Mars" (DDH Hazy IPA, 7%), and Asahi's "Jukusen" (Pilsner, 5.5%). As the next rotation candidates, Uchu Brewing's "Sirius" (Hazy IPA, 7%) and COEDO's "Seiheki" (Cold IPA, 5.5%) were also introduced.

On the food side, the post was accompanied by fried chicken, making it clear that the pairing was chosen with beer in mind. Mugibaru is known as a beer pub centered on craft beer and Japanese cuisine, a place where you can relax from your first drink through to your meal in Kamata. It is a spot that draws drinkers in with the breadth of its labels while maintaining a dog-friendly setup.
