MugiWhat, pumpkin beer!? Is it like a sweet dessert beer?
Hop BroThat is the fun part: it has pumpkin aroma and sweetness, but a firm bitter finish keeps it crisp. It is an ale, not just liquid dessert.
MugiI still get a little lost when people say ale! How is it different from lager?
Hop BroSimply put, ales often let yeast-driven aromas shine more. Here, an autumnal ingredient character meets bitterness, making it great with food.
MugiOooh! So it is not drinkable pumpkin pie; it is pumpkin made for dinner. Now I am hungry!
Hop BroAnd T.T BREWERY makes its beer at its own brewery in Nakajima, Kawasaki Ward—so it is craft beer only found in Kawasaki.
MugiA Pumpkin Ale born and raised in Kawasaki! It sounds like local pride with a foamy head!
Hop BroAlongside pilsners and lagers, the brewery keeps seven beers available year-round, including seasonal releases, so a tasting flight sounds tempting.
MugiBut if it is seasonal, it could disappear while I am deciding, right? Check availability before visiting!
Hop BroExactly. Call ahead, then catch this three-part autumn ale: pumpkin aroma, gentle sweetness, and confident bitterness.
MugiLet’s head to Kawasaki Cinecitta Street and drink autumn itself. I need that Pumpkin Ale!
Pumpkin Ale returns as a seasonal beer
T.T BREWERY has announced the arrival of “Pumpkin,” a new tap at its Kawasaki Cinecitta-dori location. The beer is identified as Pumpkin Ale, a seasonal offering associated with T.T BREWERY and one of the brewery’s recurring autumn releases.
According to the brewery, the beer features the aroma and sweetness of pumpkin alongside a pronounced bitterness. Rather than presenting pumpkin only as a sweet, dessert-like note, the beer is built around the contrast between its seasonal character and the firm bitterness typical of an ale. That balance makes it a natural choice for drinkers looking to explore a more savory and structured autumn beer.
Kawasaki-brewed beer with a local identity
T.T BREWERY operates its own brewery in Nakajima, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The brewery describes its beers as original craft beers brewed in-house and emphasizes the idea of enjoying beer that can be experienced specifically in Kawasaki. Its quality-control approach covers the process from brewing through service at the restaurant.
The brewery offers seven craft beers on a regular basis, including a fruity Pilsner, a balanced standard Lager, and seasonal beers. Pumpkin Ale joins that lineup as a limited seasonal expression, giving visitors another reason to check the current tap selection at the Cinecitta-dori shop.
Availability may change depending on the remaining volume, so guests interested in trying it should confirm the current tap list before visiting. For autumn beer fans in Kawasaki, Pumpkin Ale offers a chance to enjoy pumpkin aroma and sweetness alongside a clearly defined bitterness.
Information may be inaccurate. Please refer to the brewery’s official channels for the latest details.
