Dream & Hope will host OKTOBERFEST 2026 on October 3, 2026, at Rusty Nest Oamishirasato in Oamishirasato, Chiba. The event is set to bring craft beer, food, music, skateboarding, and surf culture together in one venue.

The fifth installment of the event’s SURF & BEACH CULTURE series introduces LAZY BOY SKILL (LBS), a surfboard brand produced by professional surfer Shigeaki Shito. LBS promotes surfing as a lifestyle to be enjoyed freely, without comparing oneself with others. Rather than focusing solely on competition-oriented boards, the brand proposes alternative boards and neo-transition styles designed around the pleasure of riding waves and expressing an individual style.

That philosophy connects naturally with the event’s aim of creating a place where everyone can enjoy themselves in their own way. Beyond speed and scores, LBS asks how surfers can appreciate the waves, place, and moment in front of them. At OKTOBERFEST 2026, that perspective will meet craft beer, food, music, and other elements of beach culture.

The venue, Rusty Nest Brewery, began brewing in 2025 after transforming a former seafood-processing site near Shirasa Beach. The brewery’s broader project seeks to connect the sea, nature, food, and people of Oamishirasato. Its Cafe & Bar serves Rusty Nest beers alongside craft beers from the eastern coast of Chiba and other regions, as well as dishes rooted in the local area.

Located close to the Pacific and the Kujukuri beach area, Rusty Nest offers a fitting setting for an event built around the idea of “GOOD BEER. GOOD WAVES. GOOD PEOPLE.” On October 3, visitors can look forward to an encounter between local craft beer and the relaxed, self-directed spirit of surf culture.
