Rusty Nest Brewery, located near Shirato Beach in Oamishirasato, Chiba, will host “Dream & Hope presents OKTOBERFEST 2026” on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

The event is planned as more than a beer and food gathering. It will also spotlight the surf and beach culture closely connected to life along the Kujukuri coast. In the announcement series “SURF & BEACH CULTURE|01,” the organizers introduce VISSLA, a global surf apparel brand founded in California. Built around the concept “Creators and Innovators,” VISSLA emphasizes the DIY spirit of surf culture, collaboration with artists and craftspeople, and product development with environmental considerations.

The venue, Rusty Nest Brewery, is situated close to Shirato Beach in the central part of the Kujukuri coastline. The site was once a seafood-processing factory and has been transformed through the Rusty Nest Oamishirasato project, which began in 2023. The project aims to turn the former industrial site into a place where people can gather and connect. In 2025, the brewery began a new chapter as a craft beer producer, with a mission to connect the local community, people, and their ideas through beer.

Rusty Cafe & Bar, located on the premises, serves beers from Rusty Nest Brewery as well as selections from breweries around Chiba’s eastern coast and elsewhere. Local food is part of the experience too, including the area’s sardine-based specialty iwashi-koro and the house signature Rusty Red Curry.

With the message “GOOD BEER. GOOD WAVES. GOOD PEOPLE.,” the festival promises a setting where visitors can enjoy beer alongside the atmosphere of Kujukuri’s ocean, nature, and creative culture. Full event details and any updates should be checked through the official channels of the organizers and Rusty Nest Brewery.
