HOP JAPAN brewer to visit Bibibi.

Craft beer pub Bibibi. in Daikanyama will host a visit event featuring HOP JAPAN, a brewery based in Tamura, Fukushima. From 3:00 p.m., HOP JAPAN brewer Suguri will be at the venue, offering guests an opportunity to talk directly with the brewer while enjoying beer from Fukushima.

The featured beer is ABUKUMA FRESH, a fresh-hop beer brewed with hops harvested this year. The beer is expected to showcase the vivid aroma and fresh character of recently harvested hops. ABUKUMA FRESH is the only beer specifically named in the event announcement.

A brewery rooted in local hops

HOP JAPAN was founded in Tamura, in Fukushima’s central region, in 2020. The brewery renovated the former Green Park Miyakoji public facility and works with contracted farmers to grow hops as well as brew beer.

The brewery is located in a nature-rich area of the Abukuma Highlands and also operates facilities including an auto campground and lodges. Its regular beers are presented around themes inspired by the traditional concept of yin-yang and the five elements, reflecting its focus on connections with nature.

A close encounter between brewers and drinkers

Bibibi. is a Daikanyama beer pub specializing in Japanese craft beer and the stories behind its makers. Its motto is that beer tastes better when you know the people who make it, and the pub places particular value on bringing brewers and drinkers close together.

For beer fans curious about HOP JAPAN, local hop cultivation, or the character of fresh-hop beer, this event offers a chance to explore ABUKUMA FRESH while meeting the brewer behind it. The event will take place at Bibibi. in Daikanyama, Shibuya, Tokyo. Check the venue’s announcement for the latest details before visiting.
