Enjoying a Yokohama-made pint at Miura Kaigan

According to an announcement from Keikyu Corporation, the "Miura Kaigan Beer Festival 2026" will be held for eight days, from April 29 to May 6, at the local exchange hub "Railway Underpass Space UMICO" in front of Miura Kaigan Station. Marking its third edition since its first run in 2024, the event has become a fixture that colors Golden Week in the Miura Kaigan area.

At the venue, breweries from the Miura Peninsula and along the Keikyu line will appear on a rotating daily basis, centered around Miura Brewery from Misaki Port. Loto Brewery is also scheduled to participate every day from April 29 through May 6, and is likely to stand out as one of the choices for beer tastings during the festival.

Loto Brewery is a brewpub founded in Kamiooka as the first craft beer brewery in Yokohama's Konan Ward. A notable feature is that it includes the ramen shop "Menya Tenku" inside the brewery. Its signature product, "Kamiooka Beer," is served as an approachable, locally familiar pint. Their distinctive style, built around the pairing of beer and ramen, is likely to help convey Loto Brewery's character even at the event.

The beer festival is designed so visitors can enjoy not only craft beer, but also local food, a truck market, and hands-on events. At Miura Kaigan, where the sea breeze can be felt, it will be worth watching to see what kind of pint a Yokohama-born brewery brings to the table.
